Series Overview
To borrow Laurie’s words, “there was all the time something flirtatious in their bickering.” Their flirtation was rather harmless and functioned largely as comedian reduction. The characters didn’t take it critically, and neither did the writers. There was chemistry, but it was by no means the focal point of the present. Despite their repartee and dynamic, the sequence was nonetheless about this cynical, misanthropic but great diagnostician solving the world’s weirdest medical circumstances and goofing round along with his finest friend, the oncologist who put up with the previous’s miserableness.
