Take a second after every few tiles to ensure that your whole traces meet up and the entire flooring seems sharp and constant. Spread sufficient mortar to easily cowl the underside of a single tile, and make sure that its whole floor is notched.
You can add simple magnificence to a traditional rest room rework with cultured marble wainscoting. Using a chunk of plywood the thickness of a tile and the skinny-set mortar below, undercut any door jambs to accommodate the thickness of the tiles.

Lay the cement board sheets into the thin-set and fasten them to the subflooring with 1 1/four-inch cement board screws. Leave about 1/8 inch of house in any respect seams and where the cement board meets the partitions. Most installation tools are identical to these used to put in ceramic and porcelain tile.
